- Excellent Stairs - solid and easy to climb with bad knees / backWe have just installed our Skylark 3065 for our 11 ft ceilings. It works as advertised and is quiet when opening. is very solid and secure while climbing up or down. My wife has bad knees and I have a bad back and we can both climb the stairs which are well inclined and spaced about 10" apart.
