Customize Quiet Glide Rolling Library Ladder Kit (Hardware Only) - Brushed Satin Brass Finish - Rolling Fixtures

Select Ladder Width

Choose from 16" or 20" Wide Ladders. Rolling style library ladder kits feature a top and bottom wheel that glide along the rail. Rolling fixtures are not meant to be removed from the rail once installed.

Wheels are equipped with spring loaded weight actuated brakes to lock the wheels when stepping onto the ladder.

Add Abrasive Tread Covers?

For increased safety, you can add clear abrasive covers to your ladder steps. Tread covers are sold per cover, and one tread cover is needed for each rung of the ladder:

8' Ladders have 7 Rungs
9' Ladders have 8 Rungs
10' Ladders have 9 Rungs

Add Additional Ladder Rung Supports?

Add Ladder Rung Supports?

If you are building your own ladder, ladder rungs supports are used under each step to provide supports for the steps.

7 rung supports are included for a ladder with up to 7 rungs. Only add additional rung supports for each of your ladder's rungs over 7.

Add 3' Straight Rail Sections?

Choose the number of 3' straight rails for your installation. Rail sections can be joined together using splice kits and additional rail sections to create longer length rails for your installation. Rails can also be field cut to size for exact fit.

Choose Rail Bracket Type & Quantity

Choose vertical - or - horizontal style rail support brackets.

The recommended spacing between each support is 32", or 4 brackets for the first 8' of straight rail, and 3 brackets for each additional 8' of straight rail. Each curved track should get 2 rail brackets.

To calculate a recomended number of brackets for your straight runs of rail, follow these steps:

1. Total up the number of feet of straight rail for each run of rail
2. Convert the total number of feet of straight rail to inches. (For instance 10' = 120")
3. Divide the number of inches by 32, and round fractional amounts up. (For example 120 / 32 = 3.75, round up to 4)
4. Add 1 to the previous number to get your total number of brackets. For 10' of straight rail, your total number of brackets should be 5.

Choose End Stops for Rail Ends

End stops terminate and finish the ends of your railing. Choose standard style - or - ball style end stops for your rail installation. End stops are sold in pairs. (2 each per qty)

Select Number of Rail Splice Kits Needed

Rail splice kits are used to join two sections of rail together to create a longer rail. Typical installations will use a total of (1) less number of splice kits than the total number of individual rail sections for your project. For instance, if you are creating a run of rail that is 20' using (2x) 8' rails, and (1x) 4' rail (3 total individual sections of rail), you would use (2) splice kits to join them together.
