Does the self close take the place of the soft close? Would both be needed to be installed?

The Soft Close and Self Close are additional accessories. The Self close does not take the place of the Self Close as they have two different uses. They can be used at the same time. Soft Close takes the place of the standard braking system to give you a brake and soft close. The Self Closing mechanism closes the door every time you open it.
