The Oak Straight Stair Kits Feature:

• Extra sturdy construction, oak stringers are 10" high x 2" thick, oak treads are 101/2" deep overall x 2" thick.
• Choice of 36" overall finished width or 40-1/8" overall finished width, at the same price.
• All oak components furnished in a mill finish ready for staining or clear coating.

This Straight Stair Kit’s open riser design lends a light airy appearance that complements any setting. The Kit can be assembled easily in just a few hours and includes oak stringers & treads, all necessary hardware, top header plate & nosing, bottom securing clips, and oak cover plates. Available in your choice of a 36"W (31-7/8" clear tread width) or 40-1/8"W (36" clear tread width) stair.

The handrail is an optional kit comprised of an oak handrail, one oak spindle for each riser, and all fasteners. Two handrail kits are needed if the stairway will be open on both sides.

Options and Upgrades


Spindle Upgrades: Upgrade your standard square spindles to a Colonial, Traditional, or European style spindle.


In-Between Spindle: Add an intermediate spindle to each tread. Recommended for homes with small children, pets, or to meet code requirements.
